Q: You have a knob that turns in the middle of the two buttons on top of my whirlpool/bubbler bathtub. What is that knob supposed to control?
A: It is supposed to control the heater. THX.
Q: Can you use the air bubble and whirlpool separately or must they be turned on together?
A: they work independently, you can turn on the jets or the air bubbles without having to turn on the other one.
We offer contractor discount, but if you want the order with delivery included the minimum purchase is 5 pcs.
Q: Do any Woodbridge jetted tubs have a heater?
A: None of our jetted tubs comes with heater. Also, we do not sell heater module.
Q: How does the water stay warm without a heater built in
A: our bathtubs don't come with heater
there acrylic doubled walled they hold the heat for 20-30 minutes
Q: Are the pop up and overflow drains available in a different finish? How about the jets? If not available by you then is it possible to have them replaced by a third party without damaging the tub?
A: Unfortunately we don't have other colors just in chrome and yes they can be replaced however we don't have any information on the vendors for those parts
Q: What is the center knob supposed to do? There's no mention of it online or in the installation manual, and turning it seems to have no effect on anything.
A: The center knob is just for decorative it does not have any function
Q: I am getting this whirlpool installed very soon. I am wondering if bath bombs / salts / and other scented bathing accessories are able to safely be used in this tub or if it will cause problems with the unit. I also want to know if Woodbridge offers an extended warranty on the Andria 67" whirlpool tub? I know that it does come with a 1 year warranty.
A: you can use any brand but we do recommend that after each use you clean up the bathtub
fill your bathtub halfway with hot/warm water put a bit of clorox let it sit for 10 min and then drain it out
unfortunately is only for 1 year , we don't extended the warranty
Q: Can the air bubbles be adjusted?
A: The support team for the factory said there is no way to adjust the bubbles. If you add more water they should not feel as strong
Q: Do you have jet ring trim kits available in gold to replace the chrome finish on the whirlpool tubs?
A: We only provide chrome trim for the whirlpool freestanding tub
Q: I bought WoodBridge BTS1060/B0030 but I can not turn on jets. Please advise how I can turn on jets.
A: So sorry you are having an issue with the jets not working. I found your order along with the exact model and generation you have. There are a couple things you will want to look into. First It is unlikely the pump or air mover would become defective as they are very powerful and are under worked for their capabilities. The first thing to check would be the breaker or the GFCI outlet to make sure power is available. You can do this simply by plugging another appliance into that same outlet to test. If all is good there, then the next thing to check would be the air-lines that connect the pumps to the control buttons. It is very uncommon, but during shipping or installation it is possible that one of these lines was pulled on and was barely hanging on and now has come loose. These buttons aren't digital and there are no circuit boards or complex electrical components. They are in fact physical and when depressed they just push a small amount of air through a clear rubber line to move an actuator and turn the motor on. If this turns out to be the issue it is fixable and doesn’t require any extra parts or special tools. You need only turn the tub on its side and locate which line isn't connected to the bottom of the button and re-attach by pushing and twisting back onto the plastic barb underneath the button. Then test the functionality and you will be done. Since it may be hard to tell if the line is all the way on you can apply a small amount of blue PVC cement to the hollow barb using a Q-Tip, making sure to not block the hole, and that will melt the two pieces together and ensure that even if you don’t get it on well it will still hold forever. These steps will determine if the motor went bad. If that ends up being the case we can address a replacement. I will attach images to assist you in locating these lines and where to attach. If you or your plumber have any questions please feel free to call and we will walk you through it. Also, if you discover that the buttons are not the problem have him take pictures of the lines connected underneath so we can officially rule that out.
Q: Where do the outlets need to be placed for the Whirlpool Water Jetted and Air Bubble Freestanding Bathtub, B-0030 / BTS1606? Do they need to be in the floor under the tub or on the wall?
A: It can be either or, both will work just fine
Q: How does the B0030 tub meet IRC P2720.1 ?
"Access shall be provided to circulation pumps in accordance with the fixture or pump manufacturer's installation instructions. Where the manufacturer's instructions do not specify the location and minimum size of field fabricated access openings, an opening of no less than 12x12 inches shall be installed for access to the circulation pump."
thanks,
peter
A: That is our number that you give to inspector that says we pass IRC Standards Other then that you can return tub if it does not work for you
Q: Can you use Epsom salt if you don’t turn on the water jets?
A: We don't recommend it, mainly because there is no way for us to know if a particular product or brand will effect the finish and in that sense we cannot say with confidence that it won't damage.
Q: How do you gain access to the pump or motor should it fail or need maintenance?
A: They really don't go out but of they need replacement you would go through us
Q: Hi we just got our B0030 tub. Are the power switches on the tub? Our old tub didn’t have them so we had to control the power from a wall switch. I’d like to confirm that the two buttons on the on/off switches for each motor and the dial controls the water massage? If not, I can have the electrician put switches on the wall for each of them.
A: So sorry you are having an issue with the jets not working. I reviewed all of the model info and your situation. There are a couple of possibilities. If you or your plumber have any questions please feel free to call and we will walk you through it. Also, send over some photos of the underside of the buttons or whatever you find and the date stamps or marking on the bottom so we can log all of this with the factory.
Q: I just purchase this tub. Can any bath salts or bubble bath be used? Can you use soap or shampoo? What about with the jets off? I don’t want to damage the tub but can’t find this information anywhere.
A: Yes these are the only thing is I'm not sure about bath bombs
Q: Installed the tub and plugged it into the electrical outlet but does not get power? Both outlets are working!
A: Did you check to make sure that the clear hoses that go from the push button to the motor if they are not ,thats the reason they are not working
Q: Does the B0030/BTS1606 have LED lights. We cannot find where in the installation the power to the lights is accessed.
A: The lights are prewired into the whirlpool pump so that they are on when the whirlpool jets are
Q: Speed knob is not working, what can I do?
A: The control is not a speed knob. All it does is allows for air to mix in with the whirlpool to soften the feel of the jets a little. It is working. It is not digital so there can be no failure.
Q: Is there a way to attach an in-line heater? Or is there another similar model that has a heater?
A: We have a high volume of calls with many questions for which the answers are available for reference on our website or that their plumbers would already know. Also a lot of DIY"ers that would like to be talked through installations and educated on common plumbing practices. While we do not mind this, it takes up our lines. We do not outsource our calls to some call center out of the country. We are US based and knowledgeable... That being said, the only models that have in-line heaters are our two person tubs the B-0090 and the B-0091. The B-0092 will be coming out soon and should have the same functionality in a single person tub. We do not recommend altering our plumbing system and it would void the warranty if a problem should arise from the installation of said heater.
Q: What is the difference between this and woodbridge 67'' modern bathroom glossy acrylic slipper freestanding bathtub other than the dimensions?
A: Other than the obvious dimensions and difference in appearance, there is not much different about the internals. Both have a great pump and air mover and a beautiful color changing LED.
Q: problemsds sadasd
A: dasdasddsdsda
Q: So we just installed the tub. Light doesn’t go on. How os it turned on?
A: Hi, the light goes on with the whirlpool jet simultaneously (not the bubble). If that's not happening, please contact our support @ 562-229-0088. Thank you.
Q: It says flexible drain tube. So will it extend to a drain that is left or right?
A: The flexible drain will go to the right or to the left however, it is intended to be used only when there is no access and it is not possible to relocate waste line. In any other circumstance you will want to look in to hard lining the tub in if you have access, or utilizing an Island Tub Drain if you do not
Q: What kind of white color is this bathtub?
A: White White or someone call it snow white in the pantone color 11-0602G
Q: The requirements on this list say 15a circuit. the instructions say 2 dedicated 20a. does it truly require 2x 20a or can i do a 15a for the air pump?
A: Hi there, one dedicated 20 amp circuit should be sufficient. Some of our models only have an air pump and not the jets and would only require one dedicated 15 amp circuit. Hope this info helps
